We love to see happy, healthy, active dogs living their best lives, and Tucker’s is proud to fuel all that activity and competitive spirit. Team Flyer’s Paw Zone competes in dock diving, lure coursing, all breed/whippet racing, as well as bite work/protection sports and scentwork, and they look like they’re having a blast. They have competed at Westminster and in national competitions on ESPN and have the ribbons to prove it. Their list of accolades is impressive. These champion dogs work hard and play hard.
The team works out of Flyer’s Paw Zone (named in honor of their dog Flyer), a premier dog boarding, daycare, and training facility located in Dayton, Ohio. Flyer’s Paw Zone has their own training courses, pool for dock diving, and they have a retail shop where you can stock up on Tucker’s raw frozen and freeze-dried food.
Their current team includes Belgian Malinois Kratos (pictured at the bottom) and Merc (pictured above with a bowl of Turkey-Pumpkin), Australian Shepherds Freyja and Fletcher, Whippet Wager, and Peachy (the cat), who doesn’t actually compete. However, we hear Peachy is clicker trained and has some mad skills.
Every member of the pack eats Tucker’s raw, even Peachy (the cat)!
“There are so many different formulas so if your pet has an allergy or sensitivity, there's still something for them and you know exactly what your pet is eating,” said Sarah Maleski, head trainer and general manager and mom to Freyja, Fletcher, Wager, and Peachy (the cat).
“We rotate to a different protein with each box and never have to worry about upset bellies or soft stools. Their coats are in excellent condition, their teeth are kept clean from Tucker’s raw frozen food and raw frozen bones. We couldn't be happier with Tucker's products and the company as a whole.”
Kratos will turn 10 in January, and he's been on Tucker's his entire life. "He has never needed a dental, sheds minimally, and has kept a natural shine to his coat," Sarah said. "All of them have such small poops thanks to raw food. The cat also has fewer hairballs than she did when on kibble and I can attribute raw to better coat condition. Even our picky whippet and border whippet have had no troubles with switching proteins. They may turn their noses up at other brands or treats, but they always eat their Tucker's!"
At Tucker's, we are so proud of Team Flyer's Paw Zone and are tickled pink to see them thriving on our food.
